These are my daughter's handicraft! Heh! Heh! Heh! since there isnt much happening during this school holidays, I let her knock herself out with icing and cupcakes and she came up with these! I am so proud of her! Dont be surprised that one of these days, the cuppies you buy are made by my "little apprentice"....

Do you think it is too early to mimpi of a day where I can keow kar!?

A Midsummer Night Dream...

This is inspired by Shakespeare's work that has a vivid description of fairies and their moonlit forest....A Midsummer Night Dream is the name of this creation and this was made for a very adorable and joyful girl who turn 5 this week.

The cake is a rich chocolate cake with chocolate icing and the fairies and flowers and snails and ladybird are handcrafted.... Total man hours for this cake is nearly 8 hours!!

This cake weigh in at 2.5kg and was sold for RM280..

Good Friday & Easter

I had a fantastic Good Friday. Once again, I am made aware of the significant of this day and renewed my faith. From this day forth, I shall remember the significance of the act of Good Friday!!






As for Easter, I will be having a very busy time and it was not bunny or egg hunting!! Hehehe.. I hope everyone will have fun hunting eggs and bunnies while remembering the significant of the egg and bunny. Happy Easter everyone!!

These are some of the Christmas "friends" I made yesterday for my soon to be revealed Christmas cake. A little preview of the cake will be...

It will be a not too rich, not too plain fruitcake with the right amount of rum & cognac plumped up raisins, sultanas, citrus peel, red&green cherries and home made preserved ginger all mixed up nicely to give it a "cannot stop eating slice after slice" cake... Stay tuned.....

Some artwork I did with fondant recently. These little pigs will be used on a birthday cake for a 1 year old boy soon...

Coming up will be other little animals.... Yah, I am trying my hands at creating an animal barnyard.. Well, cant have the real thing might as well have these little cute figurines...
