Overall, I find this cake has potential! I like the texture.. I love the look of this cake.. and yes, I didnt go thru all the effort of making a few different cream for this cake.. instead, use my usual light and fluffy buttercream but the result is just as good, I think. Hehehe..

Need I say more about daddy's obsession? These cuppies are priced at RM5.50 each and total package is RM175

These clumps are addictive! You will lose count of how many you have popped into your mouth especially when you are lazing around with a good book or movie! As the name indicates, these are coconut macaroons and they are crispy, fragrant and yummilicious! Hawaiian dessicated coconut are used to give that addictive fragrance...
Ya, another of my all time favorite kueh! Grew up eating this and have learnt to be very fussy about this kueh. It has to have the right amount of pandan and santan layer, it has to be "bouncy" but not hard and chewy and most definitely not soft and mushy. That's kueh talam to me...
This kueh is sold by per 8 inch round tray at RM25.

Ok.. forget about my photography skills.. I know it is not great. This here is an apple crumble. It has the usual short crust pastry filled to its rim with lots of granny smith apples lightly flavored with cinnamon. And what is a crumble with its rumbling crumble made of rich butter, flour and almond flakes. Best...
This, by the way, is a peach and banana crumble. If peaches are in season, freshly cut peaches will be used together with bananas, all lightly flavoured with spices and topped with buttery crumble with almond flakes and some little surprises... hawaiian coconut.. It is heavenly!
Didnt I say forget about what the pictures look like and just order to know what heavenly tasting these are?? They are priced at RM5 each with a minimum order of 10 pieces of each flavour.

This is my all time favorite kueh!
I like it old fashion with different colors for each layer, not too sweet and firm.. just the right sweetness and texture just like how it used to be done in those by-gone era. Eating them layer by layer, savoring the full flavor of coconut can be addictive. One layer after another, 1 piece after another....... What a great way to spend a lazy afternoon...
You gotta try it to know....
