MU Football Game

I was so busy churning out cakes and cookies for birthdays and my upcoming x'mas project that I forgot to take a picture of this cake...sigh..old age!! But everything happened for a reason. and the reason cannot be anything better than to have this picture, my first picture of a contented and happy birthday boy with his cake!!

This cake is actually a black forest cake.. chocolate sponge with dark pitted cherries and whipped cream flavored with cherry syrup and kirsch.. of course, the kirsch was very much lessen because there are kids! Heh! heh! heh! a little tiny bit wont hurt because without it, the cake wont be the same.... So, anyway, the birthday boy wanted a football field with manchester united logo on it. He scout for the design and told me.."I want this cake! Confirm." Hahahahaha... and I made the cake exactly like how he wanted it.. well, not exactly.. I added some players onto the cake for some Oooomph! Hehehhee... yes, 5 players and that's all the space there is....

So, this cake was sold for RM180 weighing in at 2.2kg...

Fairy in the Garden

When this customer asked for a garden cake because her daughter is into fairies and flowers, I immediately thought of this design.. hehehe.. something like I would like to have when I was 5!!

A french vanilla butter cake was fashioned into a garden with tiny flowers and little bunny, mushrooms, snail and of course! a fairy sitting and wishing the little girl "Happy Birthday".

This was sold for RM220.. fairy and all..

Just Thomas!

This is the month of Thomas the Train!! I had quite a few orders for this and boy! did I had a fun time moulding these Thomas... heh! heh! heh!

The first order was for the whole set of Thomas the Train.. complete with 3 carriages carrying all sorts of goodies for Nigel's birthday party. This marbled butter cake was sold for RM380 and weigh in 3.8kg.

The 2nd order was for just Thomas the Train head... The problem with this was that it rained dogs and horses and all parts that use fondant had a hard time keeping its shape and I had a hard time keeping everything from melting!! Hahahaha.. This Thomas the Train head was made using orange butter cake, weighing at 3kg was sold at RM300.00.

Yes, Thomas the train is a bit of work and it usually take at least 6 hours to get Thomas presentable.... hence, the price!!

Autobots - Bumblebee!

I took nearly 6 hours to shape this car.. yes, 6 hours!! yes, I dont have the mould for a camero car.. I only have the mould for a bettle!! So, I had to sit there patiently shape this car from scratch and boy! did I sweat! Hahahahhaa.. Anyway, it was all worth it!! The birthday boy's expression was priceless...

This car was Ian's dream and since he was having his little birthday party in school, there were 30 kids to feed and the car is not going to feed that many hungry kids..so, I added the dirt road portion. Overall, this orange butter cake was polished off during the party and many went for 2nd and 3rd helpings! yay...

This cake was sold for RM350 and weigh in at 3.8kg.

Priceless Diva! Alway...

My long time friend ordered the above cake for her friend's birthday.. She wanted to have a picture of botticelli venus with her friend's face on it.. but.. when the kids and husbands confirmed their attendance, that idea flew out of the window!! So, I suggested that we use a picture of her friend, Bobbi instead.. hence, the picture above..

When it came to deciding what wordings to use.. Nina, my friend suggested stay priceless always.. However, I expressed my view to give that wording a twist.. ALWAY! Nina laughed her eyes out.... Hahaha..

So, a lemon cake with a picture of Priceless Dvia was created.. it weigh in at 3.2kg and was sold for RM260.. Happy Birthday Bobbi!!

Ultraman Gaia!! Hiiiiaaaaa!!!

Another ultraman cake.. Ivan was very observant of his ultraman. He could tell his aunt, my client that he wants his ultraman to have a blue "ding dong".. which we both found out later that it is actually the belt!! and that the middle part of it must be a bit sharp instead of round. Children are very observant and quick to learn I must say!! Hahahaha...

This cake was made in Ivan's favorite, Strawberry flavored buttercake and was sold for RM220 and weigh in at 2.4kg.

Cuppies - Cuties

Hehehehe.... this set of vanilla cuppies are for child's birthday at school. Total cuppies ordered was the minimum of 50 cuppies and was sold at RM3.50 each.

Oh yes! if you are wondering.. the kids and teacher at the school went.."ooooo... wahhh... so cute!.. so cute!" when the little girl's mama brought in the cuppies...
