Yup... here is to another bunch of yummilicious bananas in 3 months' time... Hehehe....

What a lurvely present for birthdays or simply to say Hello!

This is an old fashion marble cake with old fashion icing fashioned in an old fashion style by a not so old fashion me.... Hehehe.. all in at 2.4kg and was sold for RM180.

Oh yes, the ribbon is made of fondant...

Adding on to my finger food collection... These are what I did for a children's parties recently.

The top are rainbow jellies cut into cute shapes at RM1.50 each and bottom are tuna boats at RM2.50 each.

Mermaid on the rock is a chocolate butter cake with sea creatures and fauna made of fondant weighing in at 3.4kg. This cake was sold for RM320 and the birthday girl gets to keep the barbie doll!

I can do all things through HIM who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)... and yes! I could.

I harvested this bunch of bananas all by myself in the early hours of the morning when the sky was still dark..... Yup, this is the same bunch of bananas that I have posted in this blog and since it was growing outside of my house, I thought I better harvest it before someone else does!

This is my first ever bananas harvest and I hope to have plenty more to come! Hip! Hip! Hoorah! I did it...

Dont you just love lantern festival? When I was young, I used to have a hard time choosing a lantern amongst the many beautiful ones hanging high above my head in Kedai runcit. The one lantern that I really wish I could have was the old fashion trolley looking one with wings and when you push it, the wings will flap!! I used to wait outside my house just to see other children walk by with that lantern... sigh.. I wish I could buy that lantern now and if I could, I will buy plenty!

So, to play with lanterns and eat mooncakes are part of Chinese culture and this year I have created 2 new flavors to add on my last year's bestsellers. The flavours for this year are :-

Lemon with yogurt filling
Dragon fruit with yogurt filling
White Coffee with yogurt filling
Cendol
Tutti Fruitti
Bubur Cha Cha

These are sold 4 in a pretty box at RM25 or individually at RM7.50. Deliveries are made on the following dates; 23rd, 25th, 28th 30th September and 2nd October.

The above colors and flower motive reminded me of this curtains my aunt used to have eons ago! Yes, eons ago in the hip and happening era of the 60s! Nope.. I was a young child then but I remember the curtain distictively.... so, using this, I made a orange chocolate marble cake for this aunt of mine to celebrate her 65th birthday!

If you need to know.. the cake was very yummmmmmmmy... and it was 2kg in weight.
