Foodelicious!

This cake was commissioned by a very elegant lady who wanted something grand for her 70th birthday. She wanted flowers and yellow color and after many rounds of discussion, I was able to imagine what she would like..... ahhhh...

The cake is normal french vanilla buttercake and the whole cake is covered in fondant. This was sold for RM700 and it took me 1 week to get the whole cake ready.

For those who are into healthy eating but yet find it hard to give up indulgence, this is the cake for you. Basically, everything is healthy from the crust which is a blend of crushed muesli and oats to the cake which is made of 100% natural yogurt with cottage cheese to the topping..ahh.. this is the sinful part... the caramel is the indulgence and macadamia is the luxury! The combination of all gives you a guilt free luxury indulgence!

The texture of the cake is more like gelatin gummy bear than a cheesecake and perhaps because of this, not many people are used to it. However, given that taste is an acquired art, I am very sure in time to come, people will learn to love this texture compared to an ordinary cheesecake texture. The whole combination is very interesting as it entice you to eat.. and eat.. and eat.. once you acquire the taste of a different texture cheesecake. It is tangy because of the yogurt and the hint of saltiness from the crust compliments the richness of the caramel and macadamia perfectly! Luxury! is what comes to mind.....

Try it at RM110... Macadamia is "killingly" expensive and hard to find nowadays...Sigh..

What can I say about this craze!? This design was improvised from the earlier football cake to accommodate "big boyz". This cake is a marbled buttercake and weighing approximately 2.5kg. This was sold at RM220.

These cuppies were made as thank you gift for guests who will be attending a 70th birthday party for a lady. The chinese believe in giving chopstick and a bowl as a symbol of good fortune. These are twister lemonade cuppies sold at RM6.50 each without individual containers.
