These are some of the Christmas "friends" I made yesterday for my soon to be revealed Christmas cake. A little preview of the cake will be...

It will be a not too rich, not too plain fruitcake with the right amount of rum & cognac plumped up raisins, sultanas, citrus peel, red&green cherries and home made preserved ginger all mixed up nicely to give it a "cannot stop eating slice after slice" cake... Stay tuned.....

Piggies & Gang

Nigel wanted piggies and chocolate cake for his birthday and I came up with this! The piggies are made of fondant and they are in all sorts of position! 1 of each lying down on its side, lying on its stomach, sitting down, squatting and... 1 is stuck with its butt on the cake! As for the cake, it is the awesome midnight dreamz cake...

This cake was sold at RM85.

My Christmas Treats - Rum Balls...

I love Christmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year and to celebrate those warm and fuzzy feeling of Christmas, Rum Balls always come into mind.

These little balls are "spiked" with loads of raisins and cranberries plumped up with Jamacian rum to give it a Christmasie feel. Every bite will have such little surprise treats. Tis! the season to be jolly....Fra la la la la.. la la la la...

Seduction!

I love the look of this cheesecake! The contrast of each layer seduces anyone to take a bite... It is made of creamy cream cheese all whipped up with cream and.... chocolates

The base is a layer of rich chocolate sponge cake, followed by a white chocolate layer than a milk chocolate and finally, a dark chocolate layer. Each layer is smooth, light and simply seducing.

You can be seduced by this cake at RM85.

This cake is DARK...MOIST and DREAMY... Dark as midnight from a very generous dose of addictive dutch dark chocolate powder and great ingredients to make the texture moist and dreamy. As for the frosting, it is to die for.. luxuriously smooth and just the right dose of sweetness.

Local Delights - Lempar Udang

This is another one of my all time favorite traditional kueh and the few that is savory. You can hardly get great Lempar Udangs these days and most of the time, it is so disappointing... Sigh..

Anyway, this kueh is made from gently compressing soft glutonious rice steamed to perfection enveloping a mixture of kerisik with a secret spice and prawns. The thrilling part is bitting into it and seeing if you get the prawn.. Hehehe.. just like treasure hunt!

This is an old fashion kueh that is best eaten for breakfast or afternoon tea and is selling at RM1.50 each with a minimum order of 25 pieces. Try it to discover the bygone era where food is simply scrumptious!

This cake is a soft and moist Orange butter cake with longevity buns and tortoise in auspicious numbers. These decorations are made from fondant all nicely arranged to wish the grand old man good health, peace and wealth!


The size of this cake is 12inches in diameter for the bottom layer and 10inches in diameter for the top layer priced to cater for 90 guests who all came together to cheer the grand old man on....The price of this cake is RM480.00.

My Christmas Treats - Spiced Plum Tart

The best time of the year for me is November and December... The weather is better, cooler actually, people get their bonuses and have more money to spend and my favorite merry making times..Christmas and New Year! So, to kick start my merry mood this month, I have this...












I love this! Juicy blood red plums nicely poached in rich spiced syrup with a very surprisingly light and smooth semolina cream all within the boundary of a melt in the mouth almond shortcrust pastry. Yummilicious!

I even make a few single serving ones drizzle with spiced syrup.....

Festive Hampers

Have a look at my creation for the recent Hari Raya season...












This picnic basket was specially created for an outdoor loving person... A bottle of sparkling juice or imported cordial, 2 different types of homemade cookies, 350gm of Australian dried apricots and most definitely a box of belgian chocolates, all at RM300.












This hamper has a bottle of sparkling juice, 2 different types of homemade yummilicious cookies, 350gm of Australian dried apricots, a bottle of homemade addictive spicy acar, 2 boxes of imported chocolates and a choice of homemade cake at RM400.


This is a very dainty selection of all homemade goodies... spicy acar, 3 different types of cookies all snugly packed in a hand woven basket. This was sold at RM200.






The great thing about my creation is my customers are given a free hand to dictate what they would like to have in their hampers and this adds personal touch. Anyway, there are a few more hamper variants which I have yet to upload (lazy is part of the reason, mood is another...) but I will get it done one of these days... Sigh..
