Foodelicious!

Look what I did?! Hehehe... I attempted variety with my layer cake. Of course, with this variant, I had to make adjustments to the spices used and twitch the recipe a bit.. Yeah, yeah, yeah, some people have actually come up with this variant but since I am too lazy to go scout for the recipe, I decided to be funky.. hehehe...

Anyway, the result is simply awesome! The cake was softer and more moist.. and flavor is unique.. I believe this is contributed by the prunes.. Hehehe..

So, here is my creation. 6"x6" size sold at RM95 while a 9"x9" was sold at RM160..

Is the time of the year once again! Yes, this year's mooncake festival seem shorter for some reason.. Hmmm.. maybe it is because I have been so busy or could it be that it is too close to Hari Raya? Hmmm.... anyway, this year will be my 3rd year selling Jelly mooncakes and I hope it will be just as fun as the last 2... hehehe..

Once again, I have maintained my bestselling flavors; Cendol, White Coffee, Lemon and add on Tutti Fruitti, which was last year's bestseller. As for this year, Foodelicious presents.....

Chocolate & Cheese - Imported cooking chocolates are used to make the "skin" where else, the filling is made of cream cheese that compliments chocolate very well.

Lychee & Rose - This is unusual combination but you will be surprised! Lychee and Rose compliments each other very well and more so in jellies. I was so undecided if I should have the rose as the "skin" or filling and at the very last minute, I just went along with my feeling... Rose as filling and I am very happy with the result! Hehehe..

Oh! I did add some chopped lychee into the rose filling for texture.. hehehe... and it is very yumms...

As for pricing, each box of 4 is sold at RM28 or individually at RM8. I have a scheduled delivery dates set up this year and the dates are 1st, 6th, 9th, 13th 17th, 20th and 21st September all in time to celebrate Chung chow....

I was influenced to make this cake by my friend who resides in Canada.. Her blueberry bushes behind her house had so many blueberries that she was thinking of ways to eat them..hence, she made this cake and posted it on her Facebook. When I saw the cake, I was so enticed! Very very enticed by the whole outlook of the cake.. the texture was somehow rough and moist with lovely blueberries that simply melt into the cake....

So, in spite of my busy schedule meeting orders, I stole time to make this cake... it was simply easy to make and very very yummmms! Jess, my friend was right.. it is addictive.. it is super delicious.. it is simply.. YUMMMS!

Oh.. and I didnt stop at that. I had some really very good chempedak in the fridge.. the flesh of this chempedak was thick, creamy and sweet and the fragrant is simply very intoxicating and I used it for my cake. The result was.... Heavens! The cake was so fragrant and it compliments the texture and taste. Chempedak Girl Bait cake was born! Woo hooo...... Have a look!

This is what I made for a party.. Nasi Minyak that is simply delicious with acar buah jeruk and curry. It is not as the name made it to be... well, my version that is, it is not oily and rich.. but simply yumms with lots of flavors from the spices I used, raisins and cashew nuts and decorated with fried shallots.

This was catered for 20 pax and was sold for RM85

A lemon buttercake fashioned into a 2 tier Hello My Kitty Cake for a 6 years old girl's birthday. This cake weigh in at 2kg and was sold for RM200.

And this.. is RM150. A very simple combination of 3 types of cookies with either a box of tea or preserved fruit chutney or a box of dates or.. oh! the combination can be anything!!

The thing is this.. with my hampers, nothing is strictly by the books.. I, afterall, am here to create great gifts to please your recipients... So, do call if you like to have such lovely gifts made.

I was at the supermarket after work to grab some dinner and decided to make pizza... I made a thin crust and thick crust pizza! I have chicken pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, lots of herbs, cheese and tomatoes in my pizza.. simple yet very yummy.. My daughter and me together with my grand aunt had these yummy pizzas for dinner. It was indeed a great dinner..
