This is a hummingbird cake fashioned into a birthday cake for a grand lady of 82 years old! She, the birthday girl, loves hummingbird cake and what a treat it would be for her.... Her daughter threw her a surprise birthday party and I heard she was thrilled to bits... This hummingbird cake is a southern cake with bananas from my garden, pecan nuts, crushed pineapple bits nicely flavored with cinnamon and top off with cream cheese. Yes, those tiny flowers are made of cream cheese.... This was sold for RM110.
